No matter what types of weight training equipment you have, you should also make sure that all moving parts are in good working condition. Some of them may need an occasional dose of oil. Friction from moving joints can wear down and break your expensive items more quickly than anything else. You should find out to maintain your items in your manual, but you should also take the initiative to check more often than recommended.
